On the 23rd of September 2017, we took part in an experiment on 360 Experience of Amorphis Concert through virtual reality. The Finnish heavy metal band Amorphis streamed its 360 Experience concert live as a 360° video that could be watched remotely in YouTube. The concert has been also watched live remotely in the LeaForum lab of University of Oulu by 30 volunteers using VR equipment such as PS4 VR, BOBO VR, Gear VR2.

The experiment was a joint collaboration effort involving the LeaForum Human Lab, Interact Research Unit, and Centre for Ubiquitous Computing to test the VR technology from the user’s perspective.
