Five Interact researchers are currently in Stockholm, Sweden, participating in the annual European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS 2019).

Netta Iivari acts as a co-chair in the ECIS doctoral consortium. She is a co-author of two ECIS articles. She holds a keynote speech "Women in IT" at the AIS Women’s Network reception.

Mikko Rajanen and Dorina Rajanen act as co-chairs for the HCI in the Sharing Society track. They also present their position paper "Usability: A Core Concept in Socio-Technical Systems Development" in the 5th International Workshop on Socio-Technical Perspective in IS development (STPIS'19).

Arto Lanamäki participates in the Sustainable Development Goals in IS Research workshop. He is the presenting co-author to two ECIS papers: Is a Taximeter a Guarantee of Honesty or a Barrier to Entry? Exploring Technology Discourses as Consequences of Policy Ambiguity and Grounded Theory Methodology as a Resource for Pluralist Information Systems Research.

Fanny Vainionpää is the presenting co-author of the paper Girls' Choice - Why Won't They Pick IT?.
