Fanny Vainionpää (MSc) defended her PhD thesis titled “Girls’ choices of IT careers : a nexus analytic inquiry” on May 14th.

Kustos: Marianne Kinnula (PhD), Associate Professor, University of Oulu.

The thesis was supervised by Marianne Kinnula, Netta Iivari, and Tonja Molin-Juustila.

Due to the pandemic, the opponent took part via Zoom and only the supervisors and some family members were present in the lecture hall. The defense was also available to the public via Zoom, and it sparked some conversation in Twitter.
