2025

Workshops

  • Nov 2025 a workshop at IndiaHCI conference in collaboration with IIT Delhi and Tampere University: Designing Transhuman Classrooms: Speculative Co-Design with Generative AI, Robot and VR. This half-day workshop explored the educational potential of transhumanist technologies in shaping future classrooms. By integrating Generative AI (GenAI), Furhat conversational robot, and virtual reality (Meta Quest 2), participants engaged in hands-on, speculative, and participatory design activities to co-create visions of transhuman classrooms. Through direct interaction with these emerging technologies and under-pinned by transhumanist theory, the workshop challenged conventional paradigms of education. It encouraged critical reflection on cognition, embodiment, identity, and the evolving human-technology relationship. Partici-pants collaboratively envisioned futures where learning extends beyond traditional human capacities ethically, creatively, and inclusively.
