The Make-A-Difference (MAD) project has come to a conclusion. Over 100 pupils from three schools in the City of Oulu participated in the project during 2020-2023, in which they explored critical design and making. Sessions were carried out in six different classes, some of which participated in the project during different years. With the help of their teachers, we carried out several sessions on this topic.

Outcomes of the project include:

• All material used in the sessions is revised and published on the project website. In addition, a teacher's manual has been made to guide the material usage out of the project context.
• Currently more than 8 publications have been made on the topic.
• One Master's and one Bachelor's theses were made on Make-A-Difference related topics. 
• Multiple university student projects had Make-A-Difference related topics for their work
  • Two mobile apps were developed by these student groups: Juttunurkka and Poliisiauto
