A place of shelter is a concept of a space which you can define yourself and where you can feel safe and peace. You can move to this shelter at any time, for example to calm down or feel good.
In the app, you can create your own shelter using image and sound, or you can go to one of the pre-created shelters.

Based on the idea provided by Oulu's Ensi- ja turvakoti (The Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters in Oulu), this application was created in a student project with Bachelor students in Information Processing Science curriculum at the University of Oulu during spring 2021. INTERACT was involved in steering this project together with Ensi- ja turvakoti.
