Guido Giunti MD is a physician specialized in eHealth and experienced in Healthcare Innovation. He currently works as a Researcher and Medical Advisor at Salumedia Tecnologias, Spain. Editor of the Serious Games Journal of Medical Internet Research and speaker on multiple international conferences and seminars on Healthcare IT. Former Internal Medicine teacher at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and visiting instructor at NuVu Studio, an innovative education institute related to MIT, USA. He is currently working on his PhD at the University of Oulu, Finland on the use of persuasive technologies and gamification to promote healthy behaviors in patients with chronic conditions. His research is part of CHESS ITN, Europe’s first networked Connected Health PhD training programme and is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 676201.
